Bengaline is a taffeta with a bolder line surface than faille taffeta. The eight panels used to make the zucchetto are precisely top-stitched as is the bottom edge. It is lined with high quality, medium weight, white, pre-shrunk, 100% linen, also made with 8 panels. There is a twisted stem of purple piping (stirpis) at the center crown. A small cross made with embroidery thread is sewn at the inside center crown (as described in books tracing the zucchetto's history). The zucchetto will be made and mailed in about 7 business days. If you need Rush Service there is a $10 Rush Fee.
