Bengaline is a taffeta with a bolder line surface than faille taffeta. The eight panels used to make the zucchetto are precisely top stitched as is the bottom edge. It is lined with high quality, medium weight, white, pre-shrunk, 100% linen, also made with 8 panels. There is a twisted stem of purple piping (stirpis) at the center crown. A small cross made with embroidery thread is sewn at the inside center crown (as described in books tracing the zucchetto's history). The zucchetto will be made and mailed in about 7 business days. If you need Rush Service there is a $10 Rush Fee.
