Description: The Benary's Giant Wine is a premium zinnia that is a must for cut flowers. This zinnia has high yields of 4-6" double dahlia blooms on long sturdy stems with excellent vase life. The Benary's Giant Wine zinnia holds up well to summer heat and rain and has low susceptibility to powdery mildew. Plant height: 40-50" and blooms summer to fall. Zinnias are deer resistant and bees and butterfly's love them! Zinnias produce long lasting blooms that are great for cutting, making them the perfect flower for bringing vibrant splashes of color into your home. Each packet contains 25 fresh, hand packed seeds with planting instructions on each packet. Sow seeds outdoors in a sunny location in well drained soil after the threat of frost has passed. Plant at a depth of 1/4 inch and space approximately 9-12 inches apart. Zinnias do not like to be overcrowded, spacing them too closely will result in smaller plants and blooms. Seeds can be sown a couple of weeks apart to insure a long, full season of beautiful blooms. Zones 2-10.
