Description: Hard to find Carl Zeiss wide angle rangefinder lens for a Contax IIa or IIIa camera; this one came with a IIIa. The lens with serial #1589482 dates to the mid-1950s and is made in Germany, not Japan. Comes with original aluminum lens cap, hard shell case, and cardboard spacers with matching serial number. The lens is quite dusty on the outside, but inside where it mounts appears dustless, and the lens looks excellent. All things turn freely. Clear plastic shell has an occlusion and some scratching.
