Description: This is a Zeh Scherzer Marseille dessert plate with a wreath of red and pink roses and greenery. There is hand painted gold trim on the rim. The plate is scalloped and lightly embossed around the rim. It is 7 3/4" wide, in excellent condition. The backstamp reads Marseille Z. S. & Co Bavaria in green. ZS&CO is Zeh Scherzer. The pattern does not have a name, Replacements calls it ZSC140. The plate is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The backstamp dates to 1880-1910.
