Description: Zeh Scherzer German Porcelain Yellow Daisy Scalloped Square Serving Bowl 1882 We are pleased to offer this gorgeous hand painted fine porcelain serving bowl manufactured by Zeh Scherzer in Bavaria, Germany circa 1882-1918. It is unmarked, but we were able to find the same bowl with the same daisy design, but in blue, that had the ZS & Co inkstamped. This stamped mark has a crowned shield with a deer and two trees in the center. (photo included for your reference). This bowl features two yellow daisies with maroon centers surrounded by olive leaves - one flower larger than the other. It is decorated with scattered brushed metallic gold daubs and has a 22k gold trimmed deep scalloped rim. It measures 9" square and stands 2-1/2" tall. It is in excellent condition with no nicks, crazing, stains, or cracks. The gold trim does shows light wear.
