Some Bible interpreters make the book difficult because they utilize an unnatural approach to interpreting it. They say that Zechariah should be interpreted metaphorically, allegorically, or "spiritually." They try to interject and impose the "church" into the text, although the church is nowhere to be seen in Zechariah. The third reason I wrote this book is to dispel the notion that Zechariah is a DISCOURAGING book. In like fashion, sometimes we as Christians are prone to become discouraged as we see Satans "new world order" moving forward in ways that seem unstoppable. This is merely a temporary illusion. In reality, it is not Satans "new world order" that is unstoppable; it is Christs "New World Order" that is unstoppable. The book of Zechariah reminds us that, for Christians, we are not only on the right side of history, but we are also on the WINNING side of history! Author Biography Dr. David Schnittger is the president of Southwest Prophecy Ministries. In his over 40 years of full-time Christian ministry, he has served as a writer and broadcaster intermittently for Southwest Radio Church of the Air from 1975-2015. He has written over a dozen books and over 200 articles on biblical, prophetic and liberty themes.
