Your love remains, although the meaning and interpretation deepen. I've always loved this cranky and verbose lil guy, but now I can hear his words and pull much more significance from them. I love the universal truths he unveils with such honest conviction. One of the cool things about being an artist is that you can give yourself whatever you want. In a sense, anyway. I've always wanted to hang out with Yoda, and now I can. I made sure to have him looking right out at the viewer so his eyes can follow you around the room and command your attention...almost begging you to strike up a conversation with him. I painted this in black, red, and gold spray paint over a background of grey/cream acrylic washes. 16" x 20" canvas with the hanging hardware attached.
