Description: A rare gem. I bought this synth new from Guitar Center in Chicago back in 1999. It has a few minor scratches but is in great condition... Even the original protective plastic is still on the screen. Original box and manual too. The FS1R is a strange and powerful beast. Nothing else sounds quite like it. Programming custom patches is a real pain on the front panel but easier with a computer editor. I even wrote a patch editor myself back in the day. You can see some minor rust forming on the back top edge if you look closely at the photos. Time destroys everything eventually. I just replaced the onboard battery with a fresh Sony CR2032 which should last another 10-20 years or so. Included a photo of the cover removed so you can see there is no water damage on the inside... The boards look pristine. If you have any questions, please ask.
