Description: 1993 USPS Postcard Wyatt Earp Legends of the West Wyatt Berry Stapp Earp (March 19, 1848 – January 13, 1929) was an American lawman in several early west cities, including Dodge City, Deadwood, and Tombstone. Earp took part in the famous gunfight at the O.K. Corral, during which lawmen killed three Cochise County cowboy-outlaws. He is regarded as the central figure in the shootout, although his brother Virgil was the Tombstone City Marshal and Deputy U. S. Marshal that day and had far more experience as a sheriff, constable, marshal, and soldier. Wyatt lived to age 80. He died at his home in Los Angeles, California. Legends of the West was a sheet of 29 cent stamps along with souvenir postcards released by United States Postal Service (USPS) in 1994. Please review the photos carefully for condition and detail. Normal wear associated with an old postcard have creases, corner bumps, scratches, ink on the front etc.
