Description: WWII Era US Navy USN Mark 2 Knife w/USN Mk2 Scabbard - Guard Marked: Camillus NY - Very NICE Condition Up for sale is a WWII Era Original US Navy USN Mark 2 Fighting Knife w/USN Mk2 Scabbard. The knife has a Stacked Leather Washer handle with a Blued Blade. This item is used, see photo's for condition. No nicks or chips in the blade. No rust on the blade. No pitting. The blade has no evidence of excessive sharpening. The knife is marked on the Guard: USN Mark 2 and Camillus NY, see photo. The leather handle is in Very NICE Condition. The leather is soft and supple. The leather has darkened, but it still hast that rich dark brown color. No cracks or breaks in the leather, just the normal handling marks you would expect from a knife of this vintage. There is a small space between the leather handle and the guard, see photo. The guard and pommel have some slight movement. The USN Mk 2 scabbard is Original to the knife. No cracks or breaks in the body of the scabbard. Some wear on the paint finish. On the rear is etched the name: J.H. Hamlin. The metal portion of the scabbard is marked: USN MK2 and NORD 6581 over B.M.Co. VP This knife is used, please see photos for condition.
