Description: WWII Original Robeson Mark 2 Knife, 5th Variation. Knife measures 12" overall with a blade length of 7". Blade shows age patina, wear, some scattered pitting. The guard wiggles a bit., leather washers show some wear, use, but all intact, tight, as is the pommel. This Robeson Mark 2 variation is the only one that is stamped on the guard. The guard is stamped, ="R.C.C." on one end and "U.S.N. Mk2" on the other end. The guard is bent toward the pommel, which is correct and how they were manufactured. This variation is the only one that has a pinned pommel and it is the last Robeson Knife to be made during WWII. Comes with a USN Mk 2 Sheath made by B.M.
