Actual item pictured. Top shelf quality. See pictures. The Halsey Grey Uniforms only lasted a short time. They were only used for 9 months in 1943, There were two versions of the Halsey Grey uniform the dress version which was made of gabardine wool and work version which was made of cotton. This cap is for the dress version and made of gabardine wool. We do have the cotton work version in our ebay store in the WWII or hat section. These are rare hard to find caps.
