No Dents! + This is a handsome "Combat Serviceable" piece of gear with the 'authenticating patina' of careful actual in-theater-use. + ZERO dents, scrapes, corrosion of 'scratched' initials of A.S.N. or observable damage. + The Cup is stamped on the bottom:U.S.E.A.CO. 1945 + The interior cup shows slight superficial corrosion and spoon scratches, but is essentially clean. + The folding steel handle locks in place securely and the attachment plate is secured by four roundhead rivets. + This aluminum model identical to the design introduced prior to WWI since aluminum had been removed from the list of "conserver metals." This also has the early WWI "Rounded Lip" which was re-introduced by many contractors late in the war, despite the widespread and simulatanuious manufacture of Cups with the "Flattened Lip". + This example also retains the bright aluminum exterior. No longer were the aluminum cups being 'bead blasted' for a non-reflective finish.
