This educational booklet provides a great history/snapshot of WWI including: list of notable dates from 1914 through 1918; sections about "The Marines at Chateau Thierry," "The Barrage at St. Mihiel," "In the Argonne Forest," and "Crossing the Meuse"; several pages of maps; Data of Divisions; list of casualties titled "The Price of World-Peace"; and finally blank pages for the owner to fill in his service records and additional blank pages for "remarks." SIZE: Booklet measures approximately 4" by 6.75" in size and is 38 pages in length.CONDITION: The booklet is still in excellent condition for its age. It does have some moderate corner wear from handling and age, as well as some light creasing near the binding. The front cover also has a small scuff mark near the lower right. All interior pages are intact with no rips, no tears, no folds, and no writing. A few pages near the center (around the section with the maps) have a dark rust/staining spot to the right edge - see photos.
