Description: WWI Elgin Trench Watch. This piece is EXTREMELY RARE. This watch is completely untouched. MUST HAVE for any WWI watch collector. -The case is a 6s silverode barrel case made by the Philadelphia Watch Case Company. Has the Correct Original Pancake crown and a glass crystal. The case sleeve also has a lot of life left. -Dial is also just as rare. 6s porcelain bold arabic numeral dial with NO cracks or chips. Comes along with its Original matching blue spade hands. -Movement is 15j 6s circa 1912. Not serviced but it winds smooth and ticks. The only noticeable issue is the gear slips a bit when trying to set the hands from the crown. However hands move backwards with no issue. This watch is over 100 years old with NO service history.
