Nicely preserved Model 1895 rifle bayonet and scabbard. Retains original factory finish and edge, inverted blade as usual, stocks show just light storage wear and domed rivets of early un-modified examples. Bright blade and fittings marked 1997 on guard, blade marked EWF over W and has Austrian eagle to reverse. Scabbard is nice with original finish and no dents, shows period brazing at frog stud. Scabbard marked with Austrian eagle proof and V&N. Overall, a very nice Austrian WWII bayonet. Thank you for your interest in our items.
