Description: Vought OS2U Kingfisher This is a nice reproduction of an original World War Two photo showing a Vought OS2U Kingfisher Scout/Observation plane taxiing alongside its ship for recovery. The OS2U was a catapult launched seaplane that was carried by US Battleships and other large ships for scouting and to direct naval gunfire onto targets.
