Description: Militaria > WW II (1939-45) > Original Period Items > United States > Other US WWII Original Items--> This sale is for Twelve (12) KNOBS for the WWII C-1 Autopilot Control Panel These are Kingman Bomber takeouts that have been in storage for over 70 years. Eleven steel Knobs + one phenolic Knob show patina from use & 7+ decades in storage. They all have their set screws - some pointers may require a dab of paint. These were handled by Pilots and Copilots, so they will show signs of use. TIP: Aircraft cockpits were exposed to the harsh rays of the sun, so some of the black phenolic Discs may be faded. If you want to make these Discs look newer, simply remove the screw and flip them over; also, you can make the Knobs look even better with an old tooth brush and a squirt of WD-40. -- I also have C-1 Control Head POTENTIOMETER ASSYS in another listing.
