Description: Large Wrought Iron TORCHIERE Standard Floor Lamp 3 Legged hand made with Scrol & Rivet construction. Not welded anywhere, old school blacksmith artisan made is this. No markings but I would guess it is Continental -probably French- and dates around c1850-1900. Stands an impressive 7 feet tall and very sturdy. Nothing loose or broken, now painted Satin Black to create a stunning looking floor lamp. NB, Update, I have now fitted this with a 3-arm Brass Chandelier and some electric vacuum discharge Flicker light bulbs, quite in fitting with the theme I believe. Could easily be fitted with normal lamps of any style to suit your decor. See the up-dated pictures. I have removed the surface rust and it has been sprayed in Satin Black to give it a quality appearence rather than the junk shop look at the moment.
