Worldwide stamps on paper, U.S. and Africa, from the 1980s.

Description: I WILL BE TRAVELING AUGUST 20-30. ANY PURCHASE WILL BE MAILED IN EARLY SEPTEMBER. I'm a lifelong stamp collector. But about 50 years ago my work made me too busy to soak and sort stamps I was receiving on mail. I tore the corners off envelopes and tossed them into shoe boxes. Friends did the same for me and sent me envelopes full of stamps on paper, and often already off paper. My work took me to the Middle East and Africa. The boxes kept filling up and I kept stacking them away. I need to downsize now. This is box number 4 dating mostly from the 1980s, when mailing a letter in the US cost 25 cents. The box is mostly US, but also contains items from the U.K., Saudi Arabia, the U.A.E., Oman, Iraq, Lebanon, Mali, Ivory Coast, Canada, South Africa, Djibouti, Italy, Brazil, Pakistan, Senegal, and Tanzania and possibly others I missed in my quick review. There's a large envelope of US already off paper from the time when one ounce mail cost 4 cents. Anything that came my way from friend or office went into the box. Weight is 12-13 ounces, not counting the box. This is a rich assortment for a young collector or anyone who enjoys sorting and trading with others, or could be raw material for a dealer's introductory packets.
