Description: Items & ConditionWorld of Final Fantasy 3-Pack Lightning, Cloud, Squall - High GradeDescriptionTrading Arts Mini are a a line of collectible fixed-pose figurines produced by Square Enix of Final Fantasy and other Square Enix properties and licenses. Figurines are released as a series of sets or "Volumes". They are made in PVC and averaged in height at around 2.36” (60mm). In Japan, the figurines are sold randomly in "blind-box" packaging. In the US/International releases, the figurines are normally sold in complete box sets. These releases, many times, will not contain all the figurines released in Japan. Pricing was set at ¥350 JPY per toy or $39 USD per factory sealed box of nine randomly packaged figures. The line was, in essence, the same as the original Trading Arts, only in much smaller sizes. In 2012, the Trading Arts -Kai- Mini line was introduced. These figures were packaged separately and were customizable with included props such as weapons, hands and faces. Made of PVC, characters were depicted in a "super-deformed" style and averaged in height at around 4” (62mm). In 2015, the label was "relaunched", restarting the Volumes at 1. In the new line, characters were depicted in a "chibi-like" design style first used in the character illustrations for Pictlogica Final Fantasy. Figures were sold in single blind boxes for ¥? JPY or in lots of six blind boxes for ¥4,620 JP (approx. $43 USD), with no guarantee of a complete set of characters. Complete sets were available in the US for $39.99 USD. CloudCloud Strife (Japanese: クラウド・ストライフ, Hepburn: Kuraudo Sutoraifu) is the protagonist of Square Enix's (previously Square's) role-playing video game Final Fantasy VII (1997), Final Fantasy VII Remake (2020), Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (2024) and the animated film Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (2005). He acts in a supporting role in other Compilation of Final Fantasy VII titles, and is featured in several other games in the wider Final Fantasy series. He has also made guest appearances in various titles outside the franchise, such as the Kingdom Hearts series by Square Enix and Disney and the Super Smash Bros. series by Nintendo. Cloud was designed by Tetsuya Nomura, a character artist for the Final Fantasy series, whose role expanded during the title's development to include supervision over Cloud's personality. Yoshinori Kitase, director of VII, and Kazushige Nojima, one of the game's events planners, developed the story and wanted to create a mysterious character who acted atypically for a hero. After VII, Nomura redesigned Cloud for Advent Children, giving him a more realistic appearance alongside new weaponry and a new outfit. For Remake, the team aimed to adapt his classic design for a more realistic artstyle. Cloud has garnered primarily positive reception from critics, and has been described as one of the most iconic video game protagonists. He has also been cited favorably as an example of complex character writing in video games, as one of its first unreliable narrators and for the game's depiction of his mental disorder. Additionally, he is seen as a messiah figure in both the game and film for opposing Sephiroth's schemes and supported by his allies. Shipping USPS Ground Shipping provided.
