Description: * NOT CONTAIN ANY RESTRICTED AMMUNITION COMPONENNOTE TO EBAY - THESE BOXES ARE SHIPPED FLAT AND DOTS*Up for your consideration is a set of 2 empty reproduction M1 carbine 2-piece 50 round ammunition cartons, with WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS COMPANY (WRA) M1 DUMMY and M13 DUMMY cartridge labels. The first standardized dummy cartridge for the new carbine was the M1, used primarily for the inspection of weapons by the Ordnance Department. The cartridge was made from late 1941 to December 1943 and was packed in the early 2-piece carton. That round had a tinned case and no primer. A revised Dummy cartridge, the M13, was standardized in April 1944. In May 1944, a steel case with 2 drilled hole was approved for the M13, although many were still assembled with brass cases. The M13 Dummy cartridge was also packed in the early 2-piece carton..Each "Buy It Now" single purchase is for 2 unassembled 2-piece cartons, and one of each of the M1 and M13 Winchester Dummy labels. The cartons and labels will be shipped flat, with assembly instructions. I had a lot of these made, so if you want multiple sets, just change the auction quantity before you click on the "Buy It Now" button.Check my feedback and buy with confidence.
