Description: ORIGINAL WILLIAM CANTWELL (b 1947) 'MANGROVE SNAPPERS' SIGNED LIMITED EDITION SILKSCREEN This is just a great original piece. When I first saw this work, I absolutely fell in love with it. I thought the imagery, colors, and quality were just so great. It took me a little while to figure out who the artist was as I have never seen his work before. This is a wonderful work by the well listed Florida artist, William Cantwell. For those not familiar with the artist, I have included his biography below. This is a wonderful screenprint view of women talking in the water of the mangrove. Just an outstanding panoramic image that measures 5 1/2 x 29 inches. Signed, titled, and numbered from an edition of 117 in pencil below the image. Perfect as printed condition. Archival matted and framed in a complimentary faux bamboo frame. Really a wonderful presentation. A few nicks to the frame but nothing too bad. Frame measures 15 3/4 x 39 1/2 inches. If you collect Cantwell's work check my store for the other examples I am offering. These are the real deal screenprints and not the cheap signed reprints.
