Description: For sale is a terracotta trivet and wall hanging by Wieland Ware Pottery featuring a cowboy and bucking bronco. The 6 3/4" diameter trivet features glazing on the reverse, edges and as fill for the impressed artwork. The artwork includes a bucking bronco riden by a cowboy who has just lost his hat; landscape is provided with a few graceful lines in the background. A hole is pierced in the top for hanging as a convenience, decoration or both. This piece is in good condition with some gentle wear including some light discoloring in areas of the unglazed surface. There are two small chips on the lower edge (near 9:00 position; photograph 12). The trivet is impressed on the reverse for Wieland Ware. Approximate Measurements6 3/4" diameter1/2" high
