Description: For sale is a sauce ladle in the popular IMPERIAL QUEEN pattern by Whiting, introduced in 1893. The piece is 5 3/4 inches long with a 2 ¼ inch wide bowl and weighs 26 grams. The bowl has a stippled finish and is lightly gilded. It is monogrammed “JLD” on the handle front. The ladle is marked with the Whiting trademark, "O" "STERLING", "PAT. 1893" and “W.H. LYON”. Condition on the ladle is good. There is wear to the bowl gilding and normal wear of use. A nice piece!
