Description: “While the Hunter Sleeps” is a 6" x 8" print featured on a 1943 calendar salesman sample. Chuck believed it to be the work of R. Atkinson Fox, although I could not confirm that. The image shows a moose in a moonlit river with a cabin and mountain in the background. The calendar salesman sample is 8.5" x 14" in overall size and 6" x 8" in image size. It is in good condition, with some discoloration. The calendar pad is for January 1943 only.
