Description: Here we have up for sale is a Steel Traveling Safe Handle Coin Bank W.F. BURNS Co. CHICAGO STATE SAVINGS LOAN & TRUST CO. # 280 on case Description Deposit coins and bills in bank as they are earned. This bank has only 1 slot for coins, on the side. Opposite side has a bill hole. Heavy thick copper plated steel construction. Age 100+ years old. Patent Applied ForMade by W.F. BURNS CO., CHICAGO 1 new key shown to open front access panel included. I had a new locksmith quality key made. Bank case is stamped # 280, a heavy steel copper plated case. Nice outside case, smooth but worn plated finish. CONDITION This bank is in a nice condition, has a very patina copper worn Japanned finish. No corrosion, smooth plated finish no dents or dings. Overall nice working condition. Appears to be made of magnetic steel copper plated. 4 1/2 " long, 2 1/4 " wide, 3 1/4" tall. Access panel door opens nicely and shuts proper. 1 New Key included work smoothly as expected. Name plate clean and corrosion free. Marked # 280. Inside coin flipper trap intact & works. Inside clean. Outside has a nice smooth finish. A quality Bank. See detailed pictures for your review.
