Description: Weston Massachusetts Middlesex 2002 by P. Fox massive Peter Randall History book (Americana, Local History, New England, Middlesex County Massachusetts, Weston, Illustrated Books, Books with Maps). Farm Town to Suburb: The History and Architecture of Weston, Massachusetts - 1830-1980, by Pamela W. Fox with Sarah B. Gilman. Published 2002, Portsmouth, New Hampshire by Peter E. Randall, Publisher. 677 pages. Text in English. Profusely illustrated throughout with over 1000 illustrations, maps, photos (most never published before), a monumental work on this affluent town 15 miles west of Boston. Publisher's cloth binding, gilt title lettering, original dust jacket. Signed by the author. Book is 20 years old and shows some light gentle signs of handling and time. Book is not new or in "new" condition. Binding gently age worn, hint of light sunfade to top edge of cloth, DJ slightly stained or surface scratched, remains overall clean and attractive as a book. Internally still well preserved, clean, tight, sound. Only flaw we see is the 2nd to final page has a small lower portion of the blank corner inexplicably torn away (not affecting anything and easy to miss when viewing the book). Still attractive on the shelf, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive. Please review photos for more detail and our best attempt to convey how this slightly used book survives. Book Measures c. 12 1/2" H x 9 1/2" W. A very heavy book. [B2873].
