Western Electric Touch Tone Pushbutton Turquoise Phone Fully Restored #2

Description: This turquoise telephone will dramatically add a touch of retro to any room. It's a push button model that works on any and all phone lines, and is restored to knock your eyes out. We started with a nice Western Electric Base bearing the date of my restoration in 2020. The Western Electric plastics were cleaned, sanitized, wet sanded to remove all blemishes, and then coated with Sherwin Williams Polane, which is an industrial paint used by the phone company to renew their plastics back in the day when they were discolored. This is the same product used on airplanes, and made to withstand heavy use. This is not something out of a rattle can, but rather mixed and applied by an outside professional painting company. In this case, we made this into the Western Electric Color #64 Turquoise. It even has a brand new matching coiled handset cord and comes with a line cord that's plug-in ready right out of the box. It features a mechanical bell that will wake the dead but has a thumb wheel underneath to adjust its volume. There is a provision to insert a phone number into this phone. Below the key pad you will find a clear plastic strip that pops out. You can write your phone number on a little piece of paper and cut it to fit, lay it in place, and put the plastic strip right back on top of it. This phone works 100%, and the clarity rivals or beats any crap churned out by China today. You're gonna love it. Notice the last picture I posted, which shows the color difference between Western Electric Turquoise and Western Electric Aqua Blue. Some people call this Turquoise "Mint Green" or "Seafoam Green."
