Description: This denture clam (actually a member of ostreidae family, rastellum carinatum) is nice enough to enhance granny’s smile immediately, just insert into mouth! Just kidding, but it is a nice one. This came from Eagle Parkway west of I-35 near Texas motor speedway. A weno formation exposure was dug up during construction, revealing huge slabs covered in these oysters. Please review ALL photos to get a comprehensive view of the oyster.
