Description: Up for auction is a vintage Warner Brothers "Movie World Germany" souvenir pin. Pin #0313. Measures 2-1/4" across. Metal content is unknown. Warner Bros. Movie World Germany was a movie studio theme park located in Bottrop-Kirchhellen . Its theme was based on the Warner Bros. film studios productions and related DC Comics. The park opened in 1996, and closed as Movie World in 2004, and became Movie Park. It contained various movie-themed rides and attractions ranging from motion simulators to roller coasters and slower rides. Most of the comments I read about the park state it needs updating, (which may be why it went downhill and Warner Bros. sold it). In any case, Movie World Germany is no longer in operation (only an 8 year run), and so this pin is hard to find. It belongs to my grandson, who received it as a gift from a friend who knew he was interested in films. So selling it for him. It comes with three charms, two of which could be attached to the pin if desired. It has just always been in the plastic bag since he received it. Smoke-free home.
