Description: Walter Granville Smith (1870-1938). He was active in New York and New Jersey. He exhibited at the Boston Art Club (1898-1909) at the National Academy of Design (1890-1940) at the Pennsylvania Academy (1904-1928), at the Art Institute of Chicago (1896-1925) at the Corcoran Biennials (1907-1937) and at the Carnegie International (1905-1931). He had studied at the Art Student's League. He won prizes from the National Academy of Design Carnegie Institute, and Salmagundi Club, American Watercolor Society among others.
