Description: Walt Disney Hyperion Studio Office PHOTO Snow White Publicity Charlie McCarthy Historic Walt Disney Treasures from Saturday's Toys presents... a 1980's era contemporary print featuring Walt Disney in his office at the original Walt Disney Studio on Hyperion Avenue. The photo was originally taken in 1938. The photographer for this historic image is unconfirmed; but likely a photographer assigned to Liberty Magazine (November 26, 1938 issue). Here, Walt is seen holding animation art for his blockbuster new film, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs"... Upon closer inspection, one can also spot the miniature "Charlie McCarthy" puppet on display behind Walt. In fact, Walt had become acquainted with Edgar Bergen (father of movie and television star Candice Bergen), as the two popular franchises of these men were featured together on radio throughout the 1930's and 1940's... and in films and television as Walt sought new distribution technologies for his library of Disney films. The 8" x 10" photo is on glossy paper; professionally printed with excellent resolution. There are no watermarks or notes on reverse side of glossy photo. Noted as Disney photo archive # WD-25 Still, the photograph is rarely offered in any format, and this is a classic image of Walt Disney in his youth; several years before he moved into his all-new Walt Disney Studio in Burbank, California. About Us Combined Shipping Available Saturday’s Toys and Collectibles was founded in 1994 by Southern California author and media historian, Dave Mason. Soon after eBay's launch the following year, Saturday's Toys was among the first online specialists to strategize in embracing this rapidly developing technology. Having delivered over 16,000 coveted treasures since that time, Saturday's Toys is pleased to partner with researchers and collectors throughout the globe. Today, online offerings of archival keepsakes are presented in celebration of the times that allow for family, friends and neighbors to join in memorable gatherings that nurture the strong connections that bind a community together. These treasures are affectionately represented by "Saturday's Toys." In that light we present our adopted motto (with a nod to the Sherman Brothers): "Oh, let's go fly a kite!"
