Description: This is a great set of thick, clay pottery wall pocket planters from Mexico. Southwest cutout design and turquoise/red artwork. Thick and heavy at 8 pounds each, so use a strong nail to hang. In addition, they have been sealed with a clay sealer on the outside to protect the painted artwork, so you might want to seal them inside as well so water doesn't get behind the outside sealer. They do have holes to drain, but have a front cutout design as well.. so if used for plants, it is probably best to line the inside with moss and a bit of plastic so the dirt doesn't go through the cutouts and use as a succulent planter. They would work great for that or even a dried flower arrangement. They measure 11" tall by 9" wide by 6" deep, with two holes to hang. You could possibly use them as a wall uplight too if you put a cord through the hanging hole and attach a socket somehow in the bottom -- maybe by using a bit of epoxy to hold a socket in place.
