So why use cheap parts that'll force you to do it again soon? These seals are made in Germany by Elring - VW's original manufacturer. They're silicone so they're made to withstand both high-heat and an oily environment - something plain rubber seals just can't do. This kit comes with four seals - two fit between the doghouse oil cooler adapter to the case, and two between the oil cooler and the adapter. Do it once - do it right! What you get: 4 x Silicone Oil Cooler Seals - made in Germany by Elring - Part # 021117151A Applications: Super Beetle 1971-1979 (fits Hardtops and Convertibles) Product Notes: These seals are 10mm on each side so while they fit all doghouse-style oil coolers to the oil cooler adapter, they only fit engine cases with 10mm oil galleries. If you are running an early engine that has been converted to a doghouse, these seals will not work between the adapter and the case.
