Description: This is a CROWN TRIFARI necklace by designer Alfred Phillipe. It is Des. Pat. 160427 issued in 1950 to Philippe and features purple navettes accented with small rhinestones in a gold plated setting. It is choker length at 15 inches. The central element is 4 inches long and 7/8 inch wide at the center. The balance of the necklace is a snake chain in bright gold tone with a fold over clasp for closure. In it's day, it was available in green, clear and purple with the colored ones being a bit harder to find today. The overall condition is very, very good.
