Description: For sale is a vintage pennant, a souvenir of Vincennes University, a two-year college in Vincennes, Indiana. It measures 9 inches wide and 27 inches long, not counting the two tassels. This colorful felt pennant is in very good condition. The end of the tip is torn (see photo) and there is a pin hole near the large “V” that is visible only when held to the light. Based on other items I purchased with it at an estate sale, I believe this pennant dates to the 1960s, when VU was becoming a junior college basketball power. The pennant is not stiff; it will be shipped slightly rolled. See my listings for other vintage items, including pennants.
