Listed here is a vintage wooden "treasure chest" style two-drawer jewelry box, made in Hong Kong. It was purchased new back around 1985 so, while it is not antique, it is vintage. One interesting feature is the lock and key that came with it for locking up the top compartment. 'Very attractive box but it is not in new condition. There is a dark stain in the back left corner of the top compartment. The brass hardware has some corrosion and some of the calking, sealing wood joints, has dried and split. In addition, there are stains on the wood that didn't come off with a paper towel and water. I've tried to capture all the flaws as well as I could in the photos. It's in generally nice condition and the flaws don't jump right out at you. WEIGHT: 12 lb 14.5 oz (hefty!)
