Description: Vintage Norcrest Fine China "Sweet Violets" or Viola 5 piece breakfast tea set including an individual teapot, creamer, sugar bowl, toast rack or holder and a matching round tray. All pieces decorated with lovely lavender violets and hand painted gold trim. This mid century china breakfast tea set dates to the early years of Norcrest production and would make a lovely addition to any tea pot collection. Tea pot measures 4" Tall, Creamer & Sugar 2" Tall, Toast Rack 2.5" Tall and the Tray 10" diameter/ Lovely condition with no chips, no cracks. Light age and wear seen to hand painted gold trim. Light discoloration seen inside of the creamer. There is a very small piece of the violet detail transfer pattern that is seen near the teapot spout and is sealed below the overall glossy glaze.
