Description: Hi there! We have a set of 4 1940's reading books for your collection. This set includes books 2, 4, 7, and 8. They have dates in them from 1942, 1946, 1948. They are all 4 hardcovers with the binding intact. There are fabulous illustrations inside by Ernest E. King. These books do have some condition issues due to usage and age. There is shelf wear and the cover with the racoon is warped but still intact. There are various writings, circling, and ink spots. There are a few torn pages on the edges mostly but they all still look complete. There is the workbook part with stories and illustrations and then there is a dictionary as well.
