Description: VTG Mother of Pearl Stainless Silverplate Sheffield England Tomato Serrated Server & Fork Set This set belonged to my late parents. My mother loved tomatoes. The tomato serve is etched and has a serrated edge. The fork could be used to hold the tomato when cutting it or for condiments like olives. The fork and server have faux mother of pearl handles: 3 3/8" long on fork and 4 " long on sever. Overall, the fork is 6 3/4” long. A magnet adheres to the metal that is marked as "STAINLESS SHEFFIELD ENGLAND." Overall, the tomato server is 9 1/2" long and the silver serving section is 3 1/4" x 3 1/2". A magnet does not adhere to the metal. The serving section is marked "SHEFFIELD ENGLAND" and possibly marked on the side of the metal neck. On eBay, I find a similar server that is described as silver plated but without photos of any marks. At Esty, another one has the notes "Vintage 1930s" and "I do NOT See any Manufacturers Marks or Numbers." To be shipped with USPS Ground Advantage or USPS Priority Mail, your choice.
