Description: The item is sold as is, as found, and as you see it. The sale is for a vtg. MCM large wall mount, maybe Danish modern stylized crucifix. The crucifix is medium stained wood; unsure of type. The crucifix is maybe ceramic that has a white matte paint color. The cross is not typical as the vertical stem going past the top stays with the horizontal piece, suggesting beind stylized. Jesus is the same way in clothing, draping, and hand position, etc... Good condition. Jesus has no chips/cracks. Dirt in crevices, a lithe split in the wood more toward middle right side. It goes through, kind of hard to see under Jesus from commanding presence. Jesus will have surface dirt. May clen with right products, left as found. Theres white scuffs on the cross' left side, wood. The wood shows age with nicks, scratches, dull patches, more around like the side of Jesus' feet, hands etc... Respectful to age I did not attempt to clean item. Scuffs in wood at bottom of cross's edge. Maybe a gouge line under top right part of cross under edge. He may jiggle, but not loose or coming off. Backside has a small marker of 1497 on left top side. Nicks, age wear from the wall rubbing on it over years, white paint drips in places and some may be on sides; probably hung in a church at one time. Top slit in wood with metl reinforcement for hanging on wall. Incised number mark on side of feet. See all pics for they are part of description.
