Description: Sale is for a vintage MCM Mid-Century glass coffee carafe made by Colony Glass. The carafe stands about 10” tall and is about 7 1/2” across the wide part of the base. There is a copper sleeve on the neck with a black plastic handle riveted to it. There is no lid, which is the way I found it at an estate sale. The painted on flames are red and gold. The red flames are in decent condition somewhat faded with only a little paint loss. But the gold flames have seen better days. There is considerable paint loss on the gold flames, and some are completely worn away, as show in photos. The Colony Glass logo on the handle side of the carafe, which is supposed to be under the red flame with the flat bottom, has worn off. Otherwise, the carafe is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks on the piece. The riveted handle is still very firmly attached with no play in it. The copper neck sleeve is in nice shape showing only minor age and prior usage marks, as to be expected on a vintage piece. Please view all photos! Shipping heavy at around 2#.
