Commissioned for a college-town menswear store, this jacket features the hallmarks of "Ivy style" sport coats: three-roll-two lapels, two-button cuffs, and a sack cut (no front dart). It's also half-lined for better breathability in fall/spring months. Based on the union tag, I'd estimate 1960s-1970s. The jacket appears to be fully canvassed, too! (It passes the "pinch test," but I obviously didn't cut it open to confirm. The fabric is a light brown, 100% wool flannel with a microherringbone pattern that offers subtle visual texture. It feels slightly lighter weight than many flannel coats do (maybe connected to the "Naturalaire" branding?)
