Description: This is a cute vintage hen on nest candy dish/trinket box. The pressed glass is in great shape with no cracks. It has some minimal roughness to touch at seamed areas and one small chip on the inside rim of the upper (hen) part. No chips or cracks on the bottom (nest) part. Please see photo #15 where a blue arrow points to the tiny chip. The basket is embossed with a crisscross basket weave pattern. The hen is embossed with feather markings and a red comb and wattle. *Many similar comparable hen on nests are attributed to Indiana Glass or Westmoreland Glass, but as this piece is not marked, I am unable to be sure and chose not to claim a maker. 4.25" x 3.25" wide & 3.75" tall8.5 ouncesPlease see photos as they are part of the description. 10% of this sale will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
