Description: The item is sold as is, as found, and as you see it. The sale is for a vtg. gold framed butterfly on white board, made in Brazil. The item is in good condition with age related issues. The frame may be gold colored plastic with a recessed black colored square strip cut out into the frame. The frame has wear like top left upper corner. A white scuff in paint on backside on same area. The side has a divot spot in the gold with a small split and other scuffs in paint and nicks throughout frame. Overall not bad for age. The frame bows out a bit. The butterfly appears glued onto the board; you can see orange or yellow glue residue near antenna. His body at the purple section has part of wing over it. When mounted, may have slightly torn wing but done during mounting process. I dont know what type of butterfly this is. Could be dirty under glass. A slight foggy area near right wind that could explain dirt under glass. The butterfly overall looks intact. His right wing bottom center could be a split again, after mounting item, a vertical type. Not sure, as found. The backside is masonite tht has been nailed in. A nick on corner in masonite on bottom right and a 300 pen mark on back left side top corner. yellow green sticker, made in Brazil in center. An old brass ish metal hook at top for hanging. Theres a split on bottom right side corner; could be from nails. Corners can be scuffed. See all pics for they are part of description. May have other issues not mentioned but mentioned most significant. Measures 10.25" X 7.75" X .5".
