Description: Vintage Cadmium Glass Art Deco Necklace Graduated Faceted Beads UV Glow. Early 20th century faceted glass beads with small saucer shape spacers and early spring ring closure. The faceted beads are cadmium and are UV reactive, depending on the amount of cadmium in each bead. *THERE IS ONE BEAD THAT GLOWS GREEN and is likely Uranium glass.* Approximately 15.5" long. There is finish wear on the spring ring and what appears to be adhesive on one of the jump rings. The string is slightly loose, but doesn't need to be restrung. Otherwise in very good vintage, especially considering the age. "What is the purpose of buying vintage if you want it to look new?" We do not clean vintage items and leave that to the discretion of the buyer. All vintage items will show signs of wear consistent with age, as should be expected. We consider "vintage" to be 25+ years old (from late 1990's or before), and "antique" to be 100+ years old (from mid 1920's or before). Please see all photos for complete description.
