Description: SUPER RARE ANTIQUE EARLY TO MID 20th CENTURY HANDCRAFTED AND HAND POLISHED BUFFALO BILL BUCKLES BRONZE TONED WESTERN AMERICAN OLD CLASP BELT BUCKLE MADE BY BEAU GESTE, NYC, USA—- This antique belt buckle still has the original manufacturers retail sticker attached to the buckle back. Beau Geste was a retailer located in the famous 305 Broadway Building in New York City during the early to mid 20th century. The buckle has a fantastic naturally aged patina and looks like it was seldom worn. It’s one of the rarest western American style belt buckles you will come across and was handmade and hand polished, as the original sticker indicates. Notice that the buckle features an older style clasp, traditionally used during the 1930’s and 1940’s era. The dimensions are 3 1/4” x 2”, fits belts up to 1 1/2” wide and weighs about 3 ounces. NOTE…..we have NOT cleaned or polished this buckle. It has maintained the shine on the smooth horse head image on its own over the many years since it was manufactured.
