Description: Vintage 1980s Russel Taylor "Mincara" Vegan Faux Fur Dark Mink 35" Long Coat Womens S / M Russel Taylor was an innovator who came from the animal fur world and picked up on the market for "Faux Fur" early on. The term "Mincara" means it is faux mink, and I'm fairly certain the color is meant to look like Blackgama Mink which is a dark brown / black color. Coat features two large front pockets and button-up front closure. The buttons are detailed with a filigree pattern. The lining of the coat has a leaf pattern woven into it. It can be worn high neck, or open neck. It has hidden lined pockets on either side. This coat is amazingly authentic looking and feeling. It also weighs as much as a genuine fur. It was made in the USA and has a ILGWU union tag. Care label reads: "Clean by fur coat method. Do not brush, press, or steam." Model's stats: Womens XS / 5'3" / 120lbs / 34C / Pants size 26-27 There is no size tag on the coat. This jacket would fit up to a modern Woman's Small, maybe a smaller Medium in my opinion. Approx. measurements: Chest (Across the chest from underarm to underarm) about 19" as measured on inside of the coatLength (From top of shoulder, to the bottom hem - measured on the outside of the coat) about 35"Sleeve Length (From underarm seam to sleeve cuff) 16" Vintage used Condition. Has belt loops but does not come with a belt. Faint musty odor, as is typical of vintage items. Buttons have been previously re-sewn. Faux Fur looks a slight little bit worn down in spots, and the (leather?Suede?) lining at the edge of the pockets shows cracking / wear - but overall nothing major to detract from the gorgeous look of this classic jacket.
